Beginning with the 2014-15 season, college football entered a postseason playoff. The format is simple: the top four teams play semifinal games in two bowl games (the Rose Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, Sugar Bowl or Orange Bowl) and the winning two teams then play a week later in a National Championship game.
